Optical Scientific Inc. (OSI) announces two more FAA certified AWOS-AV systems being installed at private helipads, one in South Lincoln, VT (VT88) and the second in Stratford, NH (NH08). The AWOS equipment will be used to support IFR approaches at both locations. OSi now has over a 150 AWOS installed worldwide.

Optical Scientific Inc. (OSI) announces the purchase of the Belfort FAA Certified AWOS-AV product line. OSi retains all existing AWOS–AV FAA approvals. The AWOS-AV complements the OSi Modular Automated Weather Observing System (MAWOS) well. OSi has already begun marketing the AWOS-AV system to US airports who require a FAA certified system.

Optical Scientific Inc. (OSI) announces the AWS-432 Modular Automated Weather Observing System (MAWOS®) are being installed at Rabat Sale, Agadir Al Massira, and Guelmim Airports in Morocco. Airport authorities visited OSi in in April for comprehensive Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for the three MAWOS.
