Terms and Conditions

How to Order:
Order sensors and accessories by the full OSI model number provided on the price list or quotation sheet. Include the item description and any applicable specifications such as power requirements, cable length, etc.  All purchase orders must be made out directly to OSI corporate only – not to our representatives.

All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars, EXWorks Gaithersburg, MD and include the cost of packing. Freight, insurance, applicable sales taxes, value added taxes, import duties, and other charges are not included in the list price. Charges for these costs, if incurred by OSI, will be billed to the Buyer on the invoice.
Contact OSI if the items are to be exported out of the U.S.

Terms of Payment:
North American firms with approved credit may purchase on open account. All invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date.  Invoices not paid within 30 days of invoice date are subject to a late charge of 1.5% per month. OSI also accepts prepayment by check or money order. International orders will be shipped against a confirmed, irrevocable letter of credit or cash transfer.  MC and VISA are also accepted. All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars.

OSI selects the best method of shipment for each order unless shipping instructions are provided with the purchase order. OSI uses United Parcel Service or common motor freight carriers for most shipments to domestic locations. International shipments are arranged through DHL or KWE/Kintetsu, unless otherwise requested on order.

All items returned to OSI must be accompanied by a Return Material Authorization number (RMA), clearly visible on the shipping label. NOTE: Items sent without an RMA number will be refused.

OSI reserves the right to change specifications, discontinue, or modify any item without prior notice. Changes to specifications do not obligate OSI to alter previously sold equipment.
