WSS-300-DS Tunnel Wind Speed and Smoke Sensor |

For drift-free air flow
measurements across traffic tunnels; WSS-300-DS calculates true
average speed of air movement, and detects smoke. The sensor is
equipped with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) to compensate for
opacity variations caused by particulates, smoke, or suspended
moisture. The WSS-300-DS uses patented optical scintillation
technology coupled with advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
electronics to "see" and deliver highly accurate, path-averaged air
flow measurements superior to anything on the market today. |

LP-AWOS
The LP-AWOS is an advanced, portable, Low Power Automated Weather Station
built around the OWI-650 Low Power Weather Identifier and Visibility
Sensor (LP-WIVIS). The low power requirements of the OWI-650 make it
well suited for portable battery and solar powered applications. The

We have taken the knowledge and experience we have gained since we fielded the unit in 1999, combined it with suggestions from our customers, and have begun engineering development to produce a unit which will offer even better performance and flexibility. Our new units will feature even more robust resistance to hostile environments, greater flexibility in mounting, enhanced software algorithms, and improved optics. We are looking forward to adding it to our product line! |
